Flavours of crushed dark red berries (black raspberry, black cherry, and plum) making a rich compote. Very solid structure due to the elevated alcohol and the balance between soft tannins and acidity. Makes for very easy drinking and pairs well with any occasion. Fantastic accompaniment to roasted or grilled meats; ideal with game, but excellent with mature, hard cheeses.
